This course is suitable for French in lieu of mother tongue. All secondary students in Singapore local school system who are exempted from the mother tongue language (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) can choose French as MTL or mother tongue in lieu.
This course is also suitable for students who have French as third language and who wish to further practice their language skills.
French Toast Language Centre is registered with MOE as a private school. As such, we offer a conducive environment for learning for teenagers students and we follow the prescribed syllabus of MOELC (MOE Language Centre).
Learning French opens doors to tertiary education & scholarships in France, Canada and other French speaking countries such as Belgium or Switzerland. It also increase job opportunities in MNCs in Singapore such as BNP Paribas, Airbus, LVMH Louis Vuitton, Total etc… and local enterprises with overseas networks or operations in France.
Additionally, research has shown that the greater the effort made to learn a foreign language, the greater the brain growth in areas “involved in the learning of new material and spatial navigation”. In later life, it has been found to delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
By using age-appropriate material and activities, your child will have the chance to develop an enthusiasm for French in a professional yet fun and inspiring atmosphere.
Our native and experienced teachers will teach the 4 aspects of the language (speaking, reading, writing & listening) step by step using tools suitable for children such as role-playing, songs, arts and crafts and games. They will use a balanced approach to make sure that learning is efficient yet enjoyable. Feel free to come over and discuss with our teachers!
An official Registration Letter and a Certificate of Completion will be issued for you to submit to the MOE and/or to your child’s school.

This course is suitable for French in lieu of mother tongue. French Toast Language Centre is registered with MOE as a private school. As such, we offer a conducive environment for learning for your children.
All primary students in Singapore local school system who are exempted from the mother tongue language (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) can choose French as MTL or mother tongue in lieu. While MTL does not appear in PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) results slip, it is a key skill that can boost your child cognitive abilities and ability to communicate.
By using age-appropriate material and activities, your child will have the chance to develop an enthusiasm for French in a professional yet fun and inspiring atmosphere.

This course is the perfect choice for both initiation to the language (for total beginners) and keeping in touch with French (for native or experienced speakers).
Children learn new words and language structures, using them in fun, age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, songs, dance, games, stories and films. Our native and experienced teachers will guide your children through a fun and enriching learning experience and help them develop an interest for the language.
